FORWARD INTO BALDWIN PARK’S FUTURE
A Message from Bob Bisno

For many years, Baldwin Park has been talking about revitalizing and modernizing the downtown business district. Wanting to improve the downtown doesn’t mean residents don’t appreciate what they have. Working to improve the downtown means citizens deserve a shopping district that meets the community’s needs as those needs change.

After years of discussion and study, the Community Development Commission has decided to pursue the potential masterplan of 125 acres within downtown. The area is roughly from Clark Street on the north, Sterling Avenue on the south, Baldwin Park Boulevard on the West, and just east of Puente Avenue to the Big Dalton Wash.

I’m proud the Commission has chosen Bisno Development LLC to make the community’s view of the future come to reality. The Bisno Development Company has been working to build and improve communities for 30 years. Our company has worked on 80 properties in 45 communities, including Santa Monica, Santa Ana, San Pedro and Dallas, Texas.

In turn, we have engaged the internationally renowned architectural firm, The Jerde Partnership to help design the new City center.

A comprehensive public affairs outreach was organized, in which all citizens of Baldwin Park were invited to participate. We collected your visions, dreams and aspirations for the future of Baldwin Park.

Meetings, small and large, were held throughout the City and many expressed their ideas and hopes for Baldwin Park to the Builder Bob Bisno, the Architect Glen Mann, the outreach staff and Baldwin Park city staff.
